Crack the Clip is an independent fan-made puzzle game. Song, movie, TV show, and musical titles referenced in the game are the property of their respective rights holders. Crack the Clip is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any artist, record label, studio, network, or rights holder featured. Title references are used for the purpose of factual identification only.

Your progress, scores, names, and preferences are stored only on your device. There are no accounts, no ads and no analytics, and we don't sell or track your personal data. Three things reach outside the app: online play passes the name you choose, plus your moves and scores, through our relay server so the other players see them; videos play through YouTube; and if you buy the one-time unlock, the store handles the payment and RevenueCat — the service that checks with the store whether you own it — sees that purchase and a random id for this install. All three are explained in our Privacy Policy.

All emoji puzzles are original creations made for this game, and the melodies are synthesized within the app — they are not sound recordings. Crack the Clip does not bundle or store copyrighted recordings, lyrics, or artwork. Where videos appear, they stream from YouTube through its official player and remain the property of YouTube and the original uploaders.
